Katran Casino Review

Katran Casino works with a small, yet rather sufficient range of payment methods. You can find the usual credit/debit cards like Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro, as well as a couple of online payment systems like Neteller, Skrill, Paysafecard, and Perfect Money. Other than that several crypto coins are also on hand – you can count on making both deposits and withdrawals via Bitcoin, Tether, Ethereum, Litecoin, and USD Coin.

Mind however that the exact selection of payments may vary according to your country of residence.

As for the payment conditions, Katran Casino features some pretty low and affordable minimum deposits. Some options, like credit/debit cards, require at least €5 of minimum investment, while others – like cryptocurrencies, come with a minimum of just €8. E-wallets usually need at least €10 in order to make a deposit. All of the amounts are much lower compared to industry standards (around €20 to be precise).

The minimum withdrawal is also pretty favorable and features at least €10 for all banking options.

When it comes to the maximum withdrawal, it’s said to be up to €10,000 per month. Yet, the daily and weekly limits are not specified. Additionally, In case the sum withdrawn exceeds €1000, the casino reserves the right to conduct additional verification of transactions for the period not exceeding 48 hours.

Another strong point of this casino are the fast cash-outs. To be exact, all payouts are said to be processed as soon as possible, but not longer than 24 working hours. Note however that some delays may occur due to public holidays.

Yet, things don’t seem that promising when it comes to the transaction fees. It turned out that Katran Casino imposes some taxes on both deposits and withdrawals and we are not happy with that at all. Have a look:

• When making a deposit, regardless of payment system, a fee of 1-3% (not more than €10) will in some cases be deducted from the amount.
• When making a withdrawal, regardless of payment system, a fee of 2% (not more than €10) will be deducted from the amount.

Moreover, unfortunately the rollover requirement is not specified. To be precise, this is the number of turnovers you need to make of your deposit in order to be allowed to perform any payouts. But even though the casino fails to explain this requirement, it still points out that there’s a 10% fee in case you don’t make the needed wagers. Just as you know, the usual rollover requirement is between x1 and x3 turnovers of your deposit, so we hope that’s the case here as well. In addition, remember that turnover is not taken into account in the following game sections: Jackpots, Video Poker, ”More”, and ”Betting”.

Finally, prior to requesting any payouts, note that you may be asked to complete some verification. This might include a copy of the credit/debit card used to make the deposit. Pay attention though that the first six and the last four digits of the card number should be visible, but the middle numbers and the CVV2 code should always be hidden.

Inactive Accounts

Any account that hasn’t been used for 6 consecutive months shall be considered inactive. As a result it will be immediately closed, so keep this in mind. The good news is that the casino will try to reach out to you via the contact details from your account and shall refund the amount available on your account. Still, if it’s not able to find you, all funds will be transferred to the Company or the authorities.

Katran Casino is owned by IAMA N.V., a company registered under the laws of Curacao. It’s also said to be fully licensed and regulated by Antillephone N.V., which is one of the four master license holders authorized by the Government of Curacao to oversee the e-gaming market. So far so good, however things may not be as they seem.

First of all, the dynamic seal posted at the bottom of the page is not working at all and doesn’t actually redirect you to the official license. This seems a bit worrisome since we can’t tell for sure if it’s legit or not.

This being said, the whole safety index of this casino is now under question and we cannot guarantee for your safety or the security of your personal data.

Other than that, the casino claims to provide 100% provably fair games and reliable transactions, since it collaborates only with trustworthy payment providers. It also seems dedicated to creating a safe and healthy gaming environment for all players and offers some responsible gaming tools and resources. For example, you can request the Self-exclusion option which allows you to take a longer break from gambling. Mind however that while being excluded, you won’t be able to access your account, not make any deposits or withdrawals. In addition, at the Responsible Gaming section you can find a list of help organizations that offer advice and practical assistance in case of gambling problems. The self-check test is also a good way to determine if gambling has a negative effect on you. Have a look:

• Does gambling prevent you from attending your work or study?
• Do you play to spend your time or to avoid boredom?
• Do you play alone for a long period of time?
• Has somebody even criticized your gambling passion?
• Have you lost interest in your family, friends or hobby due to gambling?
• Have you ever lied about the real sum of money or time that you spent gambling?
• Have you ever lied, stolen or borrowed in order to get money for betting?
• Do you reluctantly spend your ‘gambling money’ on something else?
• Do you play until you lose all the money?
• Do you feel that you want to try winning your losses back as soon as possible immediately after losing?
• Do you feel lost and despair when you run out of money when gambling?
• Can arguments, despair or disappointment make you want to gamble?
• Does gambling make you depressed or cause any suicidal thoughts?

Yet, no other responsible gaming mechanisms are to be found such as deposit limits, session limits, or loss limits to give an example.

The contacts of kasino.online are not clearly provided, to be exact there is no Contacts section at all. Yet, there’s a live chat feature at the bottom of the page that you can access directly by clicking on the icon. Mind however that the chat is available in Russian only, which is a huge drawback.

Other than that you can also write to [email protected] but the accepted language is not specified though. The casino also doesn’t explain if the customer support is available round the clock or not. As a whole, there are a lot of question marks in that regard, as well as about almost anything else related to this house.
