Enter the space laboratory that we’ve already been able to explore in previous titles such as Reactoonz and Gigantoonz, to test the doctor’s new inventions in the form of completely mad modifiers on the reels.

Gargantoonz is just as volatile as its predecessors, offering an RTP of 96.20% and a winning potential of up to 7,000x the stake. Your experiments will take place on a grid made up of 7×7 reels operating with Cluster Pays mechanics. This means that wins occur when a group of at least five identical symbols appear horizontally or vertically on the grid.

Start the game with a bet of between $0.10 and $100 per spin. Coloured monsters can pay out differently depending on their type and the number of them in a winning group. The less sophisticated ones pay between 0.10x and 40x the stake, while the more sophisticated ones can pay between 0.50x and 1500x the stake. Various wilds can be used to replace all the symbols in the game. When a win is produced, the winning symbols are removed and new symbols fill the grid to potentially create new wins. The cascades continue until no more wins are produced.

Fluctuation

A type of Cyclops symbol is randomly selected to fluctuate with each spin. If the fluctuating symbols result in a win, 1 to 2 Quantum Wilds appear anywhere in place of the deleted symbols.

Discharge

In losing spins, 4 to 8 Quantum Wilds can be added to the grid to favour wins.

Experiment Charger

If no experiment is in progress, the groups of winning symbols load the charger positioned on the right of the grid. 20 symbols load the charger and once full, an experiment is randomly selected after all the cascades have been completed. If an experiment is successful, another experiment is performed until all three have been completed. Otherwise, the experimental cycle stops.

When an experiment starts, Wilds are added to the grid and all existing Wilds are transformed into the same type of Wild. When an experiment is in progress, only the Wilds will return the charge to the experiment loader with their symbol values. 40 symbols charge the charger in this state and a further 40 symbols overcharge the charger and increase the Gargantoonz multiplier by +1.

Experiment

Here’s a breakdown of the possible experiments and what they produce on the Gargantoonz reels:

• Gamma Ray Burst: Seven to nine Wilds will appear on the grid during this stage. If you land a winning Wild, it will count the symbols in its cluster before deleting them. Also, Gamma Ray Wilds will remove symbols after the payout to fill the counter.
• Black Hole: Clusters are counted until a win is achieved, then Wilds collect adjacent symbols to boost the experience loader. When three or more Wilds form a group, they trigger their space-tinged effect, leave the grid and maximise the overall potential.
• Supernova: Three to five Wild symbols are added to the grid. Wild symbols that contribute to a winning cluster remain on the grid and move diagonally across each new cascade, if they don’t cross any other symbols.

Gargantoon Charger

Each successful experiment charges the Gargantoon Charger and allows the Gargantoon to evolve. The Gargantoon Charger starts with a x1 multiplier for the Gargantoonz function and each overloaded experiment adds +1x to the multiplier. If all three experiments are successful, the Gargantoonz function is activated.

Gargantoonz Feature

This feature is played in three stages. Initially 8 Gargantoonz Wilds covering 1×1 space each appear on the grid and remain to merge even if they contribute to winnings. The Gargantoon Wilds merge into 2 Gargantoon Wilds covering 2×2 positions after winnings are counted, but before the next cascade. They remain to merge on the grid after the winnings into a 3×3 position Gargantoon Wild, then this will be removed with the winnings. Each Gargantoon Wild appears with the appropriate multiplier but only one multiplier is applied to winnings if there is more than one Gargantoon Wild in a winning group.
