Features

Blender Blitz is a slot machine full of features, both in the base game and in the free spins round. First, there are the wild symbols and the Cascades feature, both with something extra compared to how these features normally work. What exactly that is, we’ll tell you below. In addition, there is an Eliminator Symbol feature.

Wild symbols

The wild symbols in Blender Blitz appear on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4 and can replace any regular symbol like a joker. Because of this they help to form winning combinations.

When the wild symbols cannot help in this way, they will explode. In the explosion, all symbols around them also disappear. Then a Cascade begins, where you get another chance at winning combinations.

During the bonus, the symbol removal feature is active.

Cascades feature

The Cascades feature of Blender Blitz comes into action when a wild symbol explodes, or when a winning combination has been formed. The winning symbols are cut away with a knife. The resulting empty spaces are filled with new symbols that fall onto the playing field from above.

If the new symbols cause another win, then you get another Cascade without having to pay any stakes.

During the Cascades, symbols are also collected. All fruit symbols can be seen on the right side of the playing field. If you make a combination with fruit symbols, then all the symbols involved are collected there. When during a Cascades round you have collected 10 or more of the same fruit symbols, then this symbol completely disappears from the reels. This means there are fewer symbols in the game, increasing the chance of winning combinations. The collected fruits are reset again for the next paid spin.

Eliminator Symbol feature

The Eliminator Symbol looks like a knife and only appears on reel 5. We also only see this symbol during the base game. When the Eliminator Symbol lands, 2 things can happen. 1. The knife cuts away 1 of the fruit symbols. New symbols appear on the vacated spots which mean a new chance for combinations. 2. The knife removes all symbols from the playing field, collecting the fruit symbols.

To the left of the playing field we see a very tall blender. The fruit symbols that are collected on the right side of the playing field also enter this blender. If you manage to fill the blender during 1 Cascades feature, you will gain access to the free spins round. A minimum of 15 fruit symbols are required to fill the blender.

During the free spins round of Blender Blitz, you don’t get a specific number of free spins. Instead, you get 5 lives. You lose a life when you have a spin without a win. The Cascades feature and the wild symbols are also active during the free spins round. There is just a difference in how the Cascades feature works. When a fruit symbol is removed in the free spins round, it will remain gone for the rest of the round. In addition, the numbers of collected fruits are not reset after a Cascades round.

When you have removed all fruit symbols from the reels, you will get a Super Spin. With the Super Spin, you are guaranteed a win along with a win multiplier of x10 to x500. When all your lives are gone, or when you get a Super Spin, the free spins round of Blender Blitz ends and you go back to the base game.
