With Sweet Gummy, AvatarUX launches the Wild Reel mechanism. This extra reel allows you to multiply Wilds or provide them with a Multiplier. The name evidently suggests that it is not an original theme. However, you are not playing with ordinary candy, but small gummy monsters.

How to Play Sweet Gummy

In Sweet Gummy, you get to see a 5×5 playing field. Still, it is a slot machine with 40 paylines, no Cluster or Scatter Pays. To play, choose a bet between $0.10 and $100, which you can quickly adjust at any time by clicking on the money stack icon.

In addition to the 2 special symbols, you will encounter 4 low payout card symbols and 5 premium gummy monsters. The monsters give 1.6 or 2.4 times your bet when you fill a payline. With J, Q, K and A, the payout is limited to 0.8 times your bet per line.

Bonus features of Sweet Gummy

Sweet Gummy by AvatarUX revolves around the fun Wild Reel. This is central to both the base game and during the Free Spins bonus. How all the bonus features work is explained below. After all, you need them to achieve the maximum win of 10,000 times your stake.

Wild Reel

On the reels of the regular game area you will regularly come across a yellow Wild. This substitutes for all other symbols except the Scatter.

To the left of the field is a special glass test tube. This is the Wild Reel that can display three different types of symbols per row, or nothing at all.

• Multiplier: Each Wild in the row receives a Multiplier worth 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x or 25x as shown. A Multiplier Wild increases the winnings of combinations it is part of. Multiple Multipliers may be added together.
• Clone: These are the symbols that show 2, 3, 4 or 5 Wilds. Each Wild in the row is cloned to 1, 2, 3 or 4 random squares within your playing area.*
• Multiplier Clone: A combination of the two previous Wild Reel symbols to clone symbols and give a Multiplier.

*It may happen that a new Wild falls on top of an existing Wild. You may then add the Multipliers together and double them for the Merged Wild.

Wild Reel symbols trigger from bottom to top. This allows a cloned Wild to receive an additional Multiplier.

Free Spins Bonus

The chewing gum machine serves as Sweet Gummy’s Scatter. You only need 2 of them to trigger the bonus game. With 2, 3, 4 or 5, you will receive 5, 7, 9 or 12 Free Spins. The Bonus Scatters then turn into Wilds.

During this bonus, Wilds remain on the reels. After each spin, they drop down one place unless they are randomly chosen to remain Sticky. That’s a second way you can get a Merged Wild.

For each new Scatter symbol you get an extra spin. And if you manage to collect at least two in one spin, there will be no more empty slots on the Wild Reel.

Xpress

Although it seems easy to collect 2 Scatters, it can still take a while. That’s why AvatarUX provides the Xpress feature. You can choose to activate the Ante Bet of 1.5 times your bet and get more chances to win Bonus Scatters. Or you select a Bonus Buy option for 2, 3, 4 or 5 Scatters. That costs 60, 120, 250 or 500 times the bet.

What do we think of the Sweet Gummy slot machine?

We are once again impressed with AvatarUX. We would love to see the Wild Reel return more often, for example in combination with an Expanding Wild would be nice. But we are certainly already fans of the Sweet Gummy slot as well.

The gameplay does not bore you for a moment. Always hoping to clone the Wilds or at least give them a Multiplier. Moreover, a Free Spins bonus with 5 Scatters gives you the advantage of starting the round with 5 Wilds.

The design looks neat with the cute gummy monsters. The Multipliers of the Clone symbol could have been a bit bigger though. Furthermore, we would have preferred different music, as this one gets on our nerves rather quickly.
