Symbol-wise, the slot comes with two scatters that activate different bonus features. The low value symbols are represented by A to 10 royals. The bird, monkey, and the stewardess are the regular payers.

Air Race

To activate the Air Race feature, you need to land at least 3 aircraft scatters to get 9 free spins + 1 extra life. In the best case scenario, you will end up with 20 free spins. The +1 balloons get you one extra life. For each free spin, you can get up to 4 balloons and each of them is bringing a 2x multiplier.

Flying Wilds

If flying wilds appear in view during the free spins round, they move one position to the left with every spin.

Underwater Adventure

The Underwater Adventure is activated if you have at least one life left after the Air Race feature. Every time Hugo gets hit by an air mine, he loses a life.

The Underwater Adventure can also be triggered by landing a submarine scatter on reels 2 and 4. If you manage to do that, you get 1, 2, or 3 lives. Then, you need to choose treasures that reveal a cash prize. Beware, though. Hugo may lose lives while choosing treasures. If you make it to the end of the feature, you get up to 5x multiplier.

Bottom Line

Our most honest opinion is that the slot will attract a decent playerbase although some players consider the design and the theme itself a bit childish. Well, we have to admit that not long ago, this statement was totally valid. Today, trolls/ elves/ leprechauns themes are better tailored for the online casino industry and the Hall of the Mountain King was the first out of many examples that the slots industry is the perfect environment for video game characters. You may rest assured there will not be a dull moment during your gameplay.
