5 Clans

The free game grid is suspended in the air and its sides are adorned with pretty, shiny golden artifacts. In this grid, the background is drowned in black ink. The colorful symbols stand out beautifully: a green clover, a purple heart, a red diamond, and a blue spade. Next to that, there are the fighters mentioned above. There are 5 of them: Eira Frost from the land of Ice, Abbas from the Lions pack, Lupa-left eye from the wolves pack, Dracomorgan from the dragons region, and Kai McDuff from the land of fire.

Layout

5 Clans: The Final Battle is a 5 column, 3 row slot with 10 paylines. With a volatility rate of 96%, the game hosts a very high volatility. The main symbols each represent a clan: Kai McDuff from the Land of Fire, Eira Frost from the Land of Ice, Abbas from the Lion Pack, Lupa-left Eye from the Wolf Pack, and Dracomorgan from the Dragon Region. The Wild is present in the form of a simplistic portrait of a lion. The game’s maximum potential payout is 27,471 times the stake, with the stake ranging from $0.20 to $100.

Features

5 Clans offers 5 bonus packages and extras to keep your pockets happy. These are conditioned by the appearance of shields.

Here is the breakdown:

• Orange shield: if it is present in the last reel, you win 9 free spins ;
• Red Shield: Fills a reel in the wild and spins an extra spin. If it appears on the next spin, you get another extra spin. You can win up to 4 Super Wilds;
• Purple Shield: lands mystery symbols and gives you free spins until the purple shield is gone. From then on, up to 15 of the symbols can change into the same symbol;
• Blue Shield: awards a multiplier of up to 50 points on all wins;
• Green Shield: throws a few Wilds on the grid, and triggers an extra spin. And history repeats itself. You can have up to 13 Wilds on the grid.

At the end of each bonus round, the machine counts down and gives you your winnings. Also, during the free spins, the orange shield adds 3 extra spins.

Overall

At the end, 5 Clans offers a quite unique pack of features and bonuses. We rarely see a game that offers different extras with landing just one particular symbol. You can also opt for speed, and purchase the 9 free spins bonus feature. This will cost you 100 times the bet, which is still reasonable compared to the potential price of 27,471 the bet.
