Layout
The design, as we said, is reminiscent of retro slots, like Amatic slots for example, and the game play is not very animated and vivid.
The game is played primarily on a classic 3-5 ratio game board with 5 paylines. The minimum bet is $0.50 and the maximum one is $100. The RTP rate is estimated at 96.55% which is normal for such games and volatility being medium gives us a little bit of hope. The symbols are classic fruity symbols but this time-shiny ones, almost looking like gems. Lemon, cherry, kiwi and grapes are, as per usual, low pay symbols followed by plum, orange and watermelon with higher value and finishing by the “7” symbol which by default has the highest value of all. The game also features a “Happy Luke” symbol as the Wild symbol appearing only on reels 2,3 and 4 and substituting all of the rest.
Features
243 Respin Feature
The Happy Luke symbol landed on reels 2, 3 or 4 initiates 243 Respin Feature. During this feature the betways will increase their number to 243 total. Then the game will initiate a re-spin. Any winning combinations, if present, will explode and disappear, leaving space for a second re-spin and adding a 1x to the multiplier. The re-spin will continue until no more winning combinations are formed or the multiplier reaches the maximum of 5x.
Sadly, this is the only feature of this game. There is no bonus round or jackpot bonus, which, in our opinion, takes away the real pleasure of anticipating. Sure enough, this is more of a game for connoisseurs with the nostalgic layout and design.
Overall
The old-fashioned design of the game and the symbols and the outlook, as a whole, will give players the opportunity to get the taste of what games used to be before. Unfortunately, it is very uneventful and the lack of features gives no thrill at all. Overall, if you are a fan of rich and graphic games, this one is not for you.
