Features

The Trail feature is the most important in Stargate Megaways and is also central to the free spins round. In addition, wild symbols, a Cascades feature and a Bonus Buy feature are also present in the slot.

Wild symbols

The necklace with the sign of Ra on it is the wild symbol in Stargate Megaways. The wild symbols have no value themselves, but they can replace any regular symbol to complete other wins. They can appear anywhere on the playing field.

Cascades

The Cascades feature is found in almost every Megaways slot and so it is in this slot. The feature works basically the same, but has been given an extra role in Stargate Megaways.

As usual, the Cascades feature causes the symbols of a winning combination to fall off the playing field, so that new symbols can appear on the open spots from above. If this causes another win to fall, then these symbols are also removed from the playing field to make room for new ones.

This continues until no new wins occur. The additional role that the Cascades feature plays in Stargate Megaways has everything to do with the Trail feature discussed below.

Trail Feature

Along the left side of the ring around the playfield, we see the numbers 1 through 9. This row of numbers is the Trail that Stargate Megaways is mostly about. With each successive Cascade, you move up 1 square on the Trail. When the Cascades end, you fall back to the beginning. When you reach the box with the 5, you get a random modifier. The possible modifications are:

Random Wilds – up to 6 wild symbols randomly fall on reels 2 to 5.
Expanding Reels – all reels are filled with 7 symbols, giving you the maximum number of 117,649 win ways.
Wild Reel – reel 2, 3, 4 or 5 are changed into a Wild Reel, which means that they are completely covered with wild symbols.
Mystery Symbols – up to 10 random symbols on the playing field are all changed into the same symbol.
Regenerate – removes all symbols from the playing field, allowing new ones to appear in their place.

At least 5 consecutive cascades will award you different modifiers in the base game.

If you progress to level 7, 8 or 9 you will be given access to the free spins round.

Bonus Buy feature

The Bonus Buy feature of Stargate Megaways has 4 different options to choose from.

• 31.5x your bet takes you to box 5 of the Trail.
• 45.5x your bet will take you to box 7 of the Trail.
• 72.5x your bet will take you to box 8 of the Trail.
• 123.5x your bet will take you to box 9 of the Trail.

Free Spins

Once you reach box 7, 8 or 9, you’ll have access to the free spins round with 5, 6 or 7 free spins respectively to start with. But first you have to open 7 closed doors, behind which you can find a modification or nothing at all. The possible modifications you can win here apply to the entire bonus round. These are the options:

• Additional Spins – You get a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 25 additional free spins.
• Win Multiplier – A multiplier that increases every win in the round.
• Ways Increase – Each free spin is guaranteed to get more win ways than the previous one as a result, with a maximum of 117,649.
