Old Fellow

Now, visually, the game represents well the theme of the mine and the gold diggers, the basic game takes place on the surface which allows you to contemplate both the Canyons but also carts, railroads and a big lizard to keep us company. Then, if you manage to reach the free spins, you will go underground until you come face to face with a mine covered with precious gems from floor to ceiling. What is remarkable compared to other games based on this theme is the presence of animal symbols on the reels, which one might wonder why they are here, you will quickly find out as you spin Old Fellow.

Layout

Consisting of 5 reels with 4 rows and 20 paylines, Old Fellow slot offers some pretty usual stats for a Stakelogic game, there’s an RTP of 95.60% and high volatility as well as a win cap set at 50,000x the stake.

It is possible to bet from $0,20 to $20 per spin and a win is won every time a combination of 3 to 5 identical symbols aligns from left to right on the reels. The symbols that pay the highest are the red, purple, yellow, blue and turquoise gems. Then the A, K, Q, J and 10 symbols as per default would pay way less than the others.

Features

Scatter & Wild

Two special symbols round out the Old Fellow casino game.

The Wild can substitute for all symbols except the Scatters, of which there are five different ones in the guise of a dog, fox, donkey, underage old man and underage girl. These symbols can pay up to 75x the total bet.

The Scatter symbol represented by the cart full of gems can pay up to 500x the total bet anywhere on the screen, it can also trigger the Free Spins bonus.

Free Spins

Finding 3 or more Scatter symbols will win you 12 Free Spins with Sticky Wilds and Multiplier Wilds. The multiplier for each Wild depends on the number of Wilds on the reels, from x1 to x4. One or more Sticky Wilds appearing on each reel will activate 5 Extra Free Spins for a chance to win even more prizes.

Buy Feature

A buy feature allows you to purchase direct access to the bonus, its price is 100x the stake.

Gamble

As with many Stakelogic games, the Gamble feature allows you to bet your winnings and try to double them.

Overall

The prize limit of 50,000x the bet is the main attraction of Stakelogic’s Old Fellow slot. Apart from that, it’s a fairly common theme with features that you come across often. The action gets interesting inside the mine during the Free Spins where Wilds are added and frozen to the reels with multipliers, these Wilds may be different but they all perform the same substitution function.
