Lobster House

So, don’t expect to find lobsters split in half in wet crates, ready to be plunged into a scalding hot bath. In the Lobster House slot, they prefer slow cooking in the sun, in a visibly relaxing setting on a paradise beach. Relaxed and smiling, the anthropomorphic lobsters smoke pipes, sip cocktails, and eat burgers, while we players must successfully trigger the free spins, which come with sticky Wild multipliers. Fans of Pragmatic Studios will easily recognize the gameplay of The Dog House; it’s a reskin of the popular game, replacing the friendly pooches with crustaceans and the suburban neighborhood with an equally peaceful tropical beach. A few additional changes have been made.

Lobster House is presented on a 5×3 reel grid with 20 paylines that must be activated by aligning 3, 4, or 5 identical symbols, starting from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. The game is based on a high-volatility mathematical model, with an RTP of 96.51% and a potential win of up to 4,000 times your bet.

Lobster House vs. 4 different slots from Pragmatic Play

Start the game by placing a bet between $0.20 and $240 per spin. The various lobsters on vacation can pay between 1x and 37.50x the bet, followed by the cocktail and ice cream, which pay between 0.40x and 7.50x the bet, and then the A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols, which pay between 0.10x and 2.50x the bet.

The features of the Lobster House slot machine essentially consist of Free Spins, Wild Multipliers that stick during the bonus round, and a feature purchase.

Wild Multiplier

We also have the Wild symbol, represented by the coconut. This symbol substitutes for all others except the pearl. It appears on reels 2, 3, and 4, and with each spin, all Wilds on the same reel will receive a random multiplier of 2x or 3x. The Wild multiplier applies to the win it contributes to, and if there are multiple Wilds in a winning combination, the multipliers of all Wilds will add up.

Triggering the Bonus Feature

Land 3 Pearl Bonus symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5 to trigger Free Spins and win 5x the total bet. If the Bonus symbols on the screen can randomly move down one position without leaving the play area, a respin is triggered, where the reels with the Bonus symbol will move down one position, and the others without will spin for a respin.

Free Spins

Before the bonus feature begins, a random number of Free Spins is awarded as follows: Nine shells reveal between 1 and 3 Free Spins each. The number of each shell is added together to form the total number of Free Spins won.

During the bonus feature, all Wilds appearing on the reels will remain stuck until the end of the bonus feature. Sticky Wilds will be accompanied by a random multiplier that will also remain until the end.

Buy Free Spins

You can purchase direct access to the Free Spins bonus for 100x your bet by clicking on the buy option. There is also an option to access Super Free Spins for 400x your total bet. The unique feature of this mode is that the Wilds will carry random multipliers of 15x or 25x each time.

Roast the lobster, reap the winnings!

For this reskin of the popular slot The Dog House, Pragmatic Play attempts to extract the tender meat of the lobsters directly from the reels with Lobster House, which uses almost the same mechanics as the game from which it is inspired. Among the few additions is the Super Bonus Free Spins option, which this time allows you to win multipliers of up to 25x, much more generous than the classic 2x or 3x bonuses of the original. The less exciting thing is that this mode can’t be triggered naturally; you’ll have to purchase it, which inevitably comes at a high cost.

Another change, less exciting this time, is that the win potential has been reduced, going from 6,750x to 4,000x the bet. Some players may therefore be hesitant to leave the Dog House for the crustacean version.
