The free spins round in Gonzita’s Quest is actually a kind of hold & win round, where you have to collect as many stone plates as possible. The round starts when you have collected 3 or more of these stone plates in the base game. For this, you get 3 respins to play the round with.

There are a few adjustments to the playfield in the free spins round, though. For example, only stone plates and blank spaces occur on the reels. In addition, the middle reel no longer participates. Here our heroine Gonzita now sits on a large throne to watch.

You can land empty stone slabs, as well as stone slabs with multipliers on them. Only the latter plates remain on the playing field. The empty stone plates disappear again at the end of the free spin. Each time you land a stone plate with a multiplier on it on the playfield, the number of respins is reset to 3.

Gonzita only comes into action when you have filled an entire reel with 3 multiplier stone plates.
