Gold's Guardian

Gold’s Guardian slot invites you to take part in the battle between the treasure-seeking warriors and the dragon under the mountain. You will feel this oppressive feeling while playing in a chaotic environment where the dragon is keeping an eye on you, ready to unleash flames on the reels at the slightest movement.

Layout

Designed on a 5 reel interface, Gold’s Guardian features columns of alternating rows of 4 and 5 symbols to form 50 winning combinations. The RTP of the game is relatively low with a value of 94.02% which taints the image of the game a bit even before testing it.
You will prepare for the confrontation with the dragon by choosing a bet between $0.20 and $200 per spin, the objective will be to align at least 3 identical symbols starting from the leftmost reel.
The main symbols of the game are represented by an elf warrior, a dwarf, a dragon’s eye, a chest, a ring, a scroll and the symbols spades, hearts, clubs and diamonds as weak symbols. The two highest paying symbols are the wild which can substitute for all symbols and the dragon which has the ability to add a gold frame or turn into a wild when it appears in a gold frame on the reels.
The egg is a Scatter symbol, which activates the Gold’s Guardian Free Spins.

Features

Bursting Wilds

As stated, when the dragon symbol appears on the screen, it will add a frame or turn into a Wild if it appears inside a previously created frame. When frames turn into Wilds, all others nearby will also become Wilds.

Free Spins

Free Spins are activated when 3, 4 or 5 Scatter symbols appear anywhere on the reels. You’ll hit 8, 12 or 20 free spins. During this bonus, 1 to 5 frames will appear on the reels and stay there until they turn into Wilds.

Super Free Spins

Each time you trigger the Free Spins bonus 6 times, the Super Free Spins mode will be activated with 12, 15 or 25 free spins. Before each free spin, a wheel will designate between 1 and 5 new slots that will be present during the next spin. In addition, 4 to 10 slots will appear following a pattern and will boost your winnings.

Overall

Although the game has a very pleasant and captivating theme, its real negative point lies in its far too low RTP. On the other hand, the features like Bursting Wild and Free Spins are interesting and add surprise to your spins but the Super Free Spins mode may seem hard to reach unless you really spend a lot of time on it.
