Onabet Casino Review

Identity Verification Documents

Onabet’s KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure starts at your signup when you are asked to provide your name, address, email, and phone number. This should help the site verify who you are and supposedly prevent fraud, money laundering, or underage gambling, according to the site.

For verification at withdrawal request, Onabet will request a valid ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID), proof of address (can be a recent utility bill or bank statement), and, possibly, a bank statement to check the payment method you used.

Verification Time

The verification process is quite lengthy — it’s usually stated to take a whopping 1 month. This is mentioned in the ‘Onabet’s GDPR Data Protection Rights’ section, which says that the site has ‘up to 30 days to respond to data-related requests’, which includes verification. This is possibly the longest timeline for verification we’ve encountered, and we consider it excessive by all means.

VIP Program

While we were researching Onabet Casino, we couldn’t find any indication of a reward program for existing customers.

Chuva de Prêmios na Onabet or ‘Rain of Prizes’

The “Chuva de Prêmios na Onabet” or ‘Rain of Prizes at Onabet’ is a CasinoGate tournament hosted here, which happens every month with a different name. In the month of our review, you can join by playing three games: MoneyClaw, ZombieClaw, and MegaZooClaw. The tournament offers some super fun prizes for a total of 200 winners to share!

The prize distribution will give the top player R$5,000 (approximately €950), and the second and third places will get R$3,000 (approx. €570) and R$1,700 (approx. €320), respectively. The prizes go smaller for other rankings — players in 4th to 200th place will get between R$1,000 (approx. €190) and R$100 (approx. €19).

You will earn points based on your betting and winnings. For every R$0.40 (approx. EUR 0,10) you bet, you’ll get 1 point and for every R$0.40 (approx. EUR 0,10) you win, 10 points will be yours.

Drops & Wins Carona Rules or Regulamento de Carona

The “Regulamento de Carona” or ‘Carona Rules’ is a daily ongoing promotion here at Onabet. To use it, you need to deposit a minimum of R$5 (approx. €1) and play any of the games included in the promo on the site between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. If you do, you’ll be automatically entered into the prize draw for that day, regardless of whether you win or lose your games!

Every day, 20 bettors will be randomly selected to win a bonus of R$150 (around €30). The winners will be picked via random selection under the site’s supervision, as it is explained on the promo page. The list of winners will then be published in the promotions section within 48 hours,
and the bonus will directly be credited to your account if you’re among the winning players.

Drops & Wins Regulamento A Ona Tira Onda (Sunday and Monday)

The “Regulamento A Ona Tira Onda (Sunday and Monday)” (“The Ona Has Fun Rules”) is a one-day promotion that happens, you guessed it right, every Sunday and Monday. To join, you need to deposit a minimum of R$5 (approximately €1) and play the games on the Onabet platform selected for the promo between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

If you do everything right, you will be added to a draw for a chance to win one of 100 available bonuses worth R$25 per piece (about €5). The draw is independent of whether you won or lost your games during the eligibility period, so the chances are more than fair!

The 100 winners will be randomly picked through the Onabet platform, and their names will be published in the ‘promotions’ section in up to 2 days. If you score a win, your bonus amount is credited directly to your account. No further rules are mentioned, so either there aren’t any, which will be awesome, or you will be disappointed when faced with unknown-by-then strings attached, which would be the exact opposite.

Problems

The biggest issue we encountered at Onabet is the fact that any money-related rules and limits aren’t clearly stated in the Terms & Conditions, which can cause quite a lot of misunderstandings and issues along the way.

Another problem is the total lack of regular bonus offers, and even a welcome bonus, which tends to be the most anticipated incentive for any betting site. There are only tournaments, which may be great but aren’t a substitute.

Lastly, the site mainly caters to Brazilian players and while we love a good local betting site, the limited availability might disappoint many international bettors.
